This Troubleshooting section contains information about some troubles encountered by our DecoTech v6.xx users and their possible solutions to fix them.

If you have a trouble not listed here, ask for help in the Trade Room section.  If we find your trouble pertinent, we will add it here with the solutions of other users and/or our solutions.

1- When I start a DecoTech application, I get an "Update Advice" window.
2- When I start a DecoTech application, I get an "Evaluation Version" window.
3- I have bought the "3D Home & Office Design" package and I do not find any manual.
4- When I print a floor plan or a 3D perspective, the image does not use the full page.
5- When I print a floor plan or a 3D perspective I only get a black rectangle.
6- When I print a floor plan or a 3D perspective I get an error or nothing happens.
7- When I print a floor plan I get a different result from the screen.
8- My DecoTech™ Pro version 6 Electronic Key (Hasp-HL or Hardlock) is not properly detected.
9- The Scene Transfer feature refuses to restore my previously archived scenes.
10- The installation is extremely slow under recent Windows™ XP version.
11- When I go to the download web page of the evaluation version, I click a link but nothing happens.
12- My new computer does not have a parallel port to which I can connect my Parallel DecoTech Pro Electronic Key (Hardlock).
13- Since I installed a new wide screen monitor, when I print out the floor plan I am only getting the floor plan on 2/3rd of the paper.
14- I am unable to view the Electronic User's Guide (help file) on the Windows™ 7 and Vista operating systems.  
15- How to prevent future troubles with the Windows™ 7 or Vista operating system.
16- I have a Windows™ 7 or Vista operating system and my DecoTech saved files have disappeared.
