The easiest way to transfer an existing DecoTech to a new computer (or hard disk) is to copy the entire DecoTech folder from the old to the new hard disk. THEN, re-install the DecoTech software over the existing folder and do not forget to select the UPDATE ONLY check box during the installation setup. NEVER copy a DecoTech folder over an existing one or you will get corrupted objects catalogs. Note: Be sure the copied files are not READ ONLY after the copy. That often happens if you are using a CD-ROM as the media for the transfer.
