If your computer is not broken, do not try to fix it!
If you need a new computer, then demand for Windows XP, NOT Vista.
It is ridiculous that an Operating System needs 1,000,000,000 bytes of RAM and a 2,000,000,000 Hertz cpu before beeing able to simply display a clock on your screen.
It is like to simply be able to read the time on Big Ben clock tower, you build London city around it first. Or to get a Statue of Liberty, you build New York city first.
So to avoid alot of frustration and money to upgrade all your hardware and software because Vista is messing everything with your current stuff, do as the DOT. Bans Vista Upgrades.
Note: The same thing already happened before when you have moved to Windows XP. Do you have already forgotten?
